Una, 14 May- People are being made aware through various activities to increase the voting percentage in the Lok Sabha elections and two assembly by-elections in the district and to ensure participation of all voters. In another new and creative initiative, the residents of Una district will be encouraged to vote by forming a human chain. Under the sweep, in this event being organized on Wednesday, May 15, a human chain based on the map of district Una will be formed in the grounds of IRBN Bangarh battalion. This event will take place between 3 and 4 pm.
District Election Officer DC Jatin Lal said that the district administration is organizing various activities to make voters aware. Our effort is that on June 1st, all the voters should come out of their homes and cast their vote at the respective polling station and ensure their participation in strengthening democracy. He said that every vote is important in building the future of the country. He appealed to all voters to fulfill their responsibilities and inspire others to cast their votes.
