Nawanshahr - In order to motivate the youth of the district to join the army, a seminar was organized at Government Polytechnic College Behram and C Pite Center Nawanshahr under the guidelines of Deputy Commissioner, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Navjotpal Singh Randhawa as per the instructions of Punjab Government. District Employment Officer Sanjeev Kumar gave this information and said that the students of the institute and the students of government ITI Sundh were given detailed information about the entire recruitment process from registration for recruitment through a presentation. He said that the recruitment process is done in a transparent manner and asked the youths to avoid the cycle of recruitment brokers. He informed that the registration for the recruitment is starting from February 8, the written test will be conducted online in the month of April. About 100 students participated in the seminar. Along with this, he also shared special points for physical test and also told about employment and self employment opportunities after 4 years of service.
   Major Dr. Naresh informed the students about the process of medical test after recruitment in detail so that the candidates can prepare for the medical test as per the instructions. Information about the activities of the Bureau was given by Career Counselor Jasveer Singh and an address was also given by Tarsem Jasal, Instructor and Institute Head KS Bedi. After this, the team also gave information about the recruitment process and medical information to the 30 trainees who are undergoing training at Sea Piet Center.
