
A student of Sikh National College was honored with a degree and a gold medal by the Governor of Punjab
Nawanshahr - In the results declared by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar for the session 2021-22, Amanjeet Kaur, a student of Sikh National College Banga, stood first in the university in MA English. As a result, he was honored with a degree and gold medal by the Honorable Governor of Punjab, Banwari Lal Purohit, in a conference organized by GNDU on 6th April.
Nawanshahr - In the results declared by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar for the session 2021-22, Amanjeet Kaur, a student of Sikh National College Banga, stood first in the university in MA English. As a result, he was honored with a degree and gold medal by the Honorable Governor of Punjab, Banwari Lal Purohit, in a conference organized by GNDU on 6th April.
Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor of the University was also present on this occasion. On this achievement, the principal of the college, Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder, congratulated Amanjit Kaur and told that another student of this class, Shruti, had secured the second position in the university. He also mentioned that another student Jaskiran Kaur secured third position in University Merit in the session 2022-23. It is worth mentioning that MA English students of the college have been increasing the pride of the college in the same way for the last several years. Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder congratulated the entire department including Head of Department Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma for this achievement.
Later, Dr. Rajesh Huron said that in the last ten years, the students of the department have secured more than 25 university positions. Prof. Kishore Kumar, Prof. Ruby, Prof. Unkar, Prof. Shivani, Prof. Manpreet Kaur and Prof. Manpreet Kaur Sadhowal were also present on this occasion.
