He said that the drug-free Una campaign is being implemented very effectively in Una sub-division. Under this campaign, interactions were conducted with the School Task Force in 40 schools in the month of January and 25 in February.
SDM said that under this campaign, a competition is being organized at the block level in the months of March and April on the theme 'Ill effects of intoxication on the body', in which those standing first, second and third will be rewarded. Apart from this, under the program 'Mera Faisla, Nashe Ko No, Zindagi Ko Yes', a comprehensive campaign against drug addiction will be launched by ensuring the participation of 5000 youth, 5000 parents, 100 school principals and 300-400 teachers. Whereas Anganwadi workers and ASHA workers will go door to door under the 'Har Ghar Dastak' initiative to create awareness among parents and children about drug addiction.
Block Medical Officer Dr. Ram Pal Sharma, District Youth and Sports Officer Uttam Deol, CDPO Kuldeep Dayal and Nisha Gupta participated in the meeting.
