While participating in the sports tournament organized by the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Club at Shampur village of the constituency, he said that the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has taken a pledge. But for the formation of Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab and the well-being of the youth, the games were started in the homeland of Punjab. Due to which the youth of Punjab prefers to leave the drugs and go to the playground.
He said that this sports fair organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Club Shampur is a valuable contribution in creating a sports environment and such sports fairs should be held continuously. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government will continue to provide necessary equipment to organizations and sports clubs organizing such programs. For the organization of this sports fair, they organized the club president Romi and the village sarpanch Inderjit Singh and Karamjit Singh Shampur along with the office bearers and members of the club besides the entire panchayat of the village. On this occasion, he announced his donation of Rs 31000 to the club and promised to be always available for sports and other activities in future.
