Hoshiarpur - Additional Deputy Commissioner (R) Rahul Chaba today held a meeting with the officials of various departments in the district administration complex regarding the preparations for the district level Republic Day celebrations to be celebrated at Police Line Ground Hoshiarpur.
   He said that Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal will hoist the national flag on the occasion of the district level ceremony. Meanwhile, he instructed the officials to complete the assigned responsibility within the stipulated time. He said that any kind of negligence regarding the preparations of the district level ceremony will not be tolerated. Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Balraj Singh and SDM Hoshiarpur Preetinder Singh Bains were also present with him.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner asked the district police to make proper security arrangements for the district-level ceremony, and also instructed them to make adequate arrangements for parking. Meanwhile, he directed the health department to deploy a medical team in the district level ceremony. He said that in the district level ceremony, awareness posters will also be taken out by different departments.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba said that personalities with unique achievements will also be honored on this important day, for which the heads of departments should deliver the lists of officers and employees who are performing good services under them to the respective office on time. They have taken care of cleanliness at the venue, drinking water, temporary toilets, electricity connection, band, tableaus to be taken out by departments, barricading, distribution of prizes, distribution of testimonials, decoration of the pandal, rehearsals etc., various. Gave instructions to the officials of the departments regarding the works. He also asked the units of District Police, NCC, Scouts and Guides to practice for the march past to be conducted during the event. He said that the full dress rehearsal of the event will be held on January 24.
Rahul Chaba instructed the District Education Officer and said that during the ceremony, mass PT shows and cultural programs will be presented by different school children, for which the schools presenting these programs should be selected from now on. He instructed the officials to fulfill the assigned responsibility diligently, so that the Republic Day being celebrated on January 26 can be made memorable. Officials of various departments were present on this occasion.
