HGS Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Special Cell, the Special Cell team conducted raids in five cities and detained a total of
37 senior journalists and others. He was interrogated for a long time at the sale office in Lodhi Colony.
Nine women present at the raided sites were questioned about their residences and digital devices like mobiles and laptops along
with some documents were seized for investigation. After questioning, each was released late in the evening.
Before the arrest, Prabir Purkayasth's lawyer was called to the cell office. After talking to them, they were also sent back from
the office and after some time the police informed that Prabir Purkayastha and Amit Chakraborty have been arrested.
If both are UAPA. They will not be able to get bail soon if they are arrested under The 37 people who were released after
