Inaugurating this luxurious two-storey complex equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, built in an area of ??6 acres at a cost of Rs 15 crore 26 lakh, Hon'ble Chief Justice Sheel Nagu said that this new judicial complex is not just a building, but it is a new ray of justice for the residents of Mukerian. He said that this complex will improve the judicial process and provide adequate facilities for timely hearing of all cases. He said that this complex will bring new speed and efficiency in the judicial structure of the region. He appreciated the Public Works Department and Architecture Department Punjab for completing this complex on time. Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, Hon'ble Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court and Chairman of Building Committee, congratulated the residents of Mukerian for this complex and said that this complex is a gift for them after the new District Session Court Complex in Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court and Administrative Judge of Session Division Hoshiarpur, Manjari Nehru Kaul said that the construction of the new building will speed up the judicial process in Mukerian and people will get great relief and judges, lawyers and judicial officers will be able to do their work easily here. Earlier, District and Sessions Judge Hoshiarpur Dilbag Singh Johal while welcoming the Hon'ble Chief Justice and other judicial officers said that this luxurious complex provides 4 court rooms, 3 judicial residences, mediation center, front office, library, canteen, bar room, video conferencing system and other modern facilities. Apart from this, the lawyers have constructed 90 chambers at their own level. On this occasion, apart from judicial and administrative officers, Bar Association officials, members and other dignitaries were present.
