Sweep Nodal Officer of Patiala District Dr. Savinder Rekhi said that the awareness van is going to different constituencies under the directions of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Patiala Shaukat Ahmed Pari. And through this sweep voter awareness van, people are being shown videos about voter awareness by going to different villages and cities. He further said that the objective of the sweep voter awareness van is to make the voters, especially the youth, aware about the electoral process. This awareness is a part of Van Sweep activities, which is going to various assembly constituencies to make voters aware about the functioning of Voter Helpline-1950 and EVMs and VVPATs.
Today, as per the instructions of District Election Officer, Patiala, District Sweep Nodal Officer Patiala from Municipal Corporation Patiala flagged off the van to different places. On this occasion, social worker Pawan Goyal, Nodal Officer of Sanur-114 Sweep Narinder Singh, District Assistant Nodal Officer Mohit Kaushal and concerned BLOs also participated.
