Hoshiarpur - On the directions of Hon'ble Shri Bhagwant Singh Mann, Chief Minister Punjab, Hon'ble Shri Gaurav Yadav IPS Director General of Police, Punjab, Chandigarh and Hon'ble Shri Naveen Singla IPS Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jalandhar Range, Jalandhar, under the able leadership of Shri Surinder Lamba IPS Senior Captain Police, Hoshiarpur, a 05 km marathon is being organized from Police Line, Hoshiarpur tomorrow on 27-08-2024 at 7:00 am to encourage youth and children for sports as part of awareness campaign against drugs in the state of Punjab.
This marathon race will start from Police Station Cyber ??Crime (near Police Line) → Service Club PWD Rest House → ARO Chowk → Shimla Pahari Chowk → Bahadurpur Chowk > Goranget Check > Ghanta Ghar Chowk > Kamalpur Chowk > Gormint College Chowk → Session Chowk > Old Kutchery Chowk → Mahilpur Adda Chowk → Sadar Chowk → Service Club and end at Police Line.
In this marathon, the first 3 winners will be awarded Rs 5100/-, the second 5 winners will be awarded Rs 3100/- and the third 10 winners will be awarded Rs 1100/-. Registered and non-registered sports clubs/teams, NGOs, local residents and youth have been invited to participate in this marathon.
