Una, 22 March:- Those eligible voters who due to some reason have not yet been able to register their names in the voter list, there is still an opportunity for them. The last date for registering names in the voter list is May 4. District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal gave this information.
He said that the names of eligible voters who were left out from registering their names in the voter list in the district are being added to the voter list. For this, voters can contact the booth level officer of their polling station or the SDM office. They can take Form No. 6 and submit a colored passport size photograph, Aadhaar number, copy of the certificate of age and residence of themselves and their family members who are completing 18 years of age or above as on April 1, 2024. Their names can be registered in the voter list till May 4, 2024.

Jatin Lal said that the facility of e-registration is also available on the National Voter Service Portal NVSP and Voter Helpline App, in which online registration can be done. He urged that registered voters should also confirm that their names and those of their family members are registered in the voter list. The work of correction of voters' names in the list can be done till March 26. He said that anyone can confirm their name being registered in the current voter lists on the department's website ceohimachal.nic.in.

The District Election Officer has appealed to all eligible voters to ensure registration of their names in the voter list. He said that all young voters completing 18 years of age or above on April 1, 2024 must get their vote done.
