Garhshankar 13 June - Senior BJP leader Pammi Pandori said in a statement that the Punjab government's careless policy regarding illegal mining and the failure of the Punjab police to crack down on overloaded tippers is resulting in the loss of many lives every day.
Expressing regret over the death of a 16-year-old youth in Garhshankar today, she said that if the police administration had been strict on overloaded and speeding tippers, a mother's son would not have left this world today.
Pammi Pandori said that overloaded and speeding tippers have taken the lives of many people in many road accidents in the Garhshankar area. But despite this, no check has been put on these speeding tippers till date.
