Patiala, May 13 - Civil surgeon Dr. Sanjay Goyal visited the Community Health Center Patar to provide standard and quality health services to the common people and reviewed the health services. District Family Welfare Officer Dr SJ Singh was also present with him on this occasion. Dr. Sanjay Goyal asked the medical and paramedical staff to make efforts to provide better health services to the people.
He visited different places in the health center and took stock of the health services being provided and visited the ward of the hospital to know the condition of the admitted patients and asked them about the free treatment in the hospital. Dr. Goyal instructed to increase the number of deliveries and surgeries and to refer fewer cases. Apart from this, he also inspected OPD, dispensary, labor room, vaccination room etc. They also checked the vaccine being used at the Mamata Divas session, the needles-syringes being used for injections and the vaccination registers. The civil surgeon said that on Mamata Divas, tetanus shots, iron folic acid tablets to increase blood volume and calcium tablets are given free of cost to pregnant women.
Similarly, children are vaccinated against deadly diseases like whooping cough, whooping cough, tuberculosis, polio, encephalitis, measles, jaundice, pneumonia, diarrhea and tetanus. He also issued instructions to the staff to keep the hospital clean, maintain records, take special care of the emergency kit and emergency services. Apart from Senior Medical Officer Dr. Lavkesh Kumar, Health Officers were also present on this occasion.
