Mandi Gobindgarh, May 4 – Engineering Technology and Computing Faculty of Desh Bhagat University organized a felicitation ceremony to honor the outstanding achievements of its teachers and students. Organized with the theme "Honoring Brilliance: Inspiring Tomorrow's Innovators", the event was a resounding success, reflecting the University's commitment to nurturing talent and fostering excellence. Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur was the chief guest of the function. Dr Tajinder Kaur personally honored the talented teachers and students of Desh Bhagat University recognizing their hard work and dedication in their respective fields.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadavarti highlighted the efforts being made to provide high quality learning experience to the students of Desh Bhagat University. He mentioned that the university has partnered with leading corporates and foreign universities through platforms like Coursera This has enabled more than 500 students of engineering, technology and computing faculty to acquire valuable credentials from reputed organizations like Coursera, EduSkills' and ISRO. In addition, more than 100 faculty members have been certified by Coursera in more than 50 domains which enhances their skills and knowledge. Dr. Khushbu Bansal, the special speaker of the function, emphasized the importance of such events to open up new job opportunities for students at the global level.
He highlighted the university's focus on virtual learning platforms that facilitate global connections with experienced teachers. The faculty of Desh Bhagat University has successfully conducted online certifications through Coursera in collaboration with renowned institutions like Google Developers, Amazon Web Services, Palo Alto Networks, Microchip Academy, Blue Prism, ISRO, Duke University, Zell University and Princeton University.
