
Chandigarh Excise-Taxation Department will take strict action against defaulter licensees.
Acting tough on excise licensees found violating excise rules, Excise & Taxation Commissioner Sh Vinay Pratap Singh issued orders for cancellation of license of Queen Distillers & Bottlers Pvt Ltd - a bottling plant for multiple violations under Excise Act. Bottling Plant has been ordered to be sealed by the officials of Excise Dept.
Acting tough on excise licensees found violating excise rules, Excise & Taxation Commissioner Sh Vinay Pratap Singh issued orders for cancellation of license of Queen Distillers & Bottlers Pvt Ltd - a bottling plant for multiple violations under Excise Act. Bottling Plant has been ordered to be sealed by the officials of Excise Dept. Based on information received from sources, inspections were carried out on various bottling plant and based on the discrepancies found during inspections, notices were issued to the licensees. Upon adjudicating the case after hearing the licensee, order for cancellation of license has been issued by Excise-Taxation Commissioner Sh Vinay Pratap Singh against Queen Distillers & Bottlers Pvt Ltd. To curb illegal smuggling of liquor from Chandigarh, Excise-Taxation Dept would take stringent steps against defaulting licensees.
