Nawanshahr: At KSM Public School, Nawanshahr located on local Garhshankar Road, Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of the school under the able leadership of the school principal Mrs. Santosh Boparai. In this program, patriotic cultural items, dance Shabad Kirtan skit etc. were presented by the school children. Children from nursery to second class performed dance-song items by climbing up.
Patriotic songs were presented by a group of students from classes 3rd to 5th. School Principal Santosh Boparai while addressing the children on Independence Day inspired the students to be good citizens. He congratulated everyone on Independence Day And while addressing the students, he said that Independence Day is not just a special day, but a way to pay tribute to the innumerable freedom fighters of the country, who sacrificed their lives to liberate the country. This day is also a day to show our unity and loyalty to the nation. Along with this, this auspicious day inspires the young generation to serve the country.
On this occasion, Amarjit Singh said that this Independence Day is very important for us to understand our duties towards the country and to understand the importance of patriotism. On this occasion, Ghazal, a student of the tenth class, performed the responsibility of handling the stage very well. Meanwhile, the other teachers of the school were very supportive.
