Kharar, October 13 - A case of murder of his elder brother, sister-in-law and innocent nephew by a person has come up in Kharar. According to the information received, Lakhvir Singh, the elder brother of Satbir Singh, a resident of Kharar, brutally murdered his brother Satvir Singh, his wife Amandeep Kaur and their two-year-old son Anahad Singh.
Ranjit Singh, a resident of Bathinda, the brother of deceased Amandeep Kaur said that his sister Amandeep Kaur was married to Satveer Singh in the year 2020, who is currently living in Kharar. They have a 2 year old son Anahad Singh. He told that his brother-in-law's brother Lakhvir Singh also lived with them and did not do any work, instead used to fight.
Ranjit Singh said that his father received a call from his brother-in-law's sister that Amandeep and Satbir were not picking up the phone, after which he reached Kharar with his brother. When he came here, he found that the house was locked and there were traces of blood in many places. Meanwhile Satbir Singh's father and sister also came. Amandeep and Satbir were searched everywhere but they were nowhere to be found. After this, when suspicion arose, Lakhbir Singh was interrogated, after which the accused confessed his crime.
Lakhveer Singh told the police that he along with his friend Ram Sarup first strangled his sister-in-law Amandeep Kaur. When she became unconscious, they both strangled her and hung her with a fan so that it would appear to be a case of suicide. When Satvir Singh came home, both of them hit him on the head with an iron rod, due to which he fell on the floor and died.
Both of them kept the dead bodies of Satveer Singh and Amandeep Kaur in Satveer Singh's car and thoroughly cleaned the floor of the house and the blood spilled elsewhere to eliminate the evidence. They also picked up Satveer's son Anahad Singh (who was alive) and put him in the vehicle and then shut off the lights of the house and locked it and left after reaching the big canal near Ropar and threw the bodies of both in the canal. given On this occasion innocent Anahad started crying sitting in the car and these two threw him alive in the canal.
Lakhvir Singh has been arrested by the police in this case and his police remand is being obtained.
